HEROES 2012 Interview with Mouse Guard Creator David Petersen
David Petersen has been working on the Black Axe story line for the better part of a decade. It's an excellent series and well worth the wait.
Exclusive News! (Well, not anymore) - But David is doing the artwork for the 2012 BALTIMORE CON Program & Guide! and he'll be doing an exclusive print for the 2012 San Diego Comic Con!
David did cut his hair. Thank the Gods, the old and the new (sorry, just got off my game of thrones kick! Awesome show!)
David did some TMNT Covers for IDW which will be auctioned off in the near future. Once I get that information I'll be posting that link to.
I'm also going to start a petition to have David NOT name his next book "The Weasel War" and instead, name it "The War of 1149" :)

Baltimore 2011 Interview with Mouse Guard Creator David Petersen
David Petersen CUT YOUR HAIR!!! CUT IT!! DO IT NOW!!! My God, man! Who do you think you are?
Black Axe is coming along - a prequel to Fall - but the next book is ALSO a prequel, Either titled the Weasel War or the Winter War - I’m really hoping for the Winter War. I just can’t see the title “Mouse Guard: The Weasel War” on a Hardcover collection.
David’s covers for BOOM’S Muppets and IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are amazing and have been receiving rave reviews! You need to check out the books for the covers if nothing else!
And check out my journalistic prowess! Legends of the fall… yup, the Brad Pitt film… legends of the fall. I am a moron.
But here’s the answer from the first interview!! Following Cerebus! It’s finally out! With a jam cover from David Petersen and Dave Sim! Only 4 years late! Hooray!
David Petersen has since cut his hair and all seems to be right with the world now. MORE MOUSE GUARD!!
Baltimore 2010 Interview with Mouse Guard Creator David Petersen
David Petersen’s hair is getting too long. I mention this each year I see him. He’s looking like a shabby hippy. I tell him to cut his hair, but he never does.
David talks about a skunk. I’m not sure why I pointed the interview in that direction. I’m sure we could have been taking more about mouse guard, but no, I wanted to talk about a skunk!
Baltimore 2009 Interview with Mouse Guard Creator David Petersen
David Petersen of Mouse Guard fame is one of my favorite people to interview - It doesn’t show here because of my limited time on the job experience, but subsequent interviews I thought were much better.
And Dave’s question WILL BE ANSWERED in a one of the above Interviews - so, you know, that’s pretty good follow up journalism, eh?
