Tommy Lee NC Con 2012
Tommy Lee Edwards is a wonderful artist and I can't recommend his work more.
I caught up with him at the North Carolina Comic Con in 2010 with him.
He explains how he did his research for the prohibition era book "TURF"
If you're a Marvel fan, then check out his artwork in MARVEL 1985.
Tommy was a really nice guy - extremely patient and generous with his time, especially since there was a line of rabid fans requesting sketches (which he was more than kind to accomodate everyone - and I'm not talking shoddy little doodles - he was doing some really fantastic pieces!)

Tommy Lee Edwards takes some time to discuss his tools of the trade.
This is a really excellent little piece for people who have a wider brush stroke or work in watercolors or other paints.
This one was a lot of fun to do...
...Wait a minute. Tommy still owes me a Flaming Carrot Sketch!!!
Wait - did you hear that? That's right. Tommy Lee was the concept artist for the film "The Book of Eli"
